At Oxford International Career Colleges, we believe hard work deserves recognition. The Student Merit Award celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, dedication, classroom participation, and strong practicum placement performance throughout their studies.
One student from each graduating class receives a $1,000 award in recognition of their academic excellence, commitment to learning, and contribution to the OICC community.

The award is announced during graduation and celebrates students who have consistently demonstrated excellence throughout their career training at OICC.
The Student Merit Award is available to eligible domestic and international students enrolled in OICC programs at our Halifax and Vancouver campuses. To be considered, students should demonstrate:
In the event of a tie, the award may be shared equally between eligible students who meet the selection criteria.
Approximately one month before graduation, eligible students will receive an invitation from their campus staff to submit a Student Merit Award application. Campus staff will review all eligible applications and select one recipient from each graduating class based on the published selection criteria.
