How the Scholarship Works

Getting started is simple.

Apply to an eligible OICC program
Submit your COPR or e-COPR during the admissions process
Once your eligibility has been confirmed, your $1,500 scholarship will be automatically applied to your tuition fees

Who Can Apply for the Newcomer to Canada Scholarship

The Newcomer to Canada scholarship is available to eligible domestic students enrolled in an OICC program at our Halifax campus.

Eligible applicants (one of the following):

Protected persons residing in Canada
Individuals displaced by war residing in Canada
Permanent residents (granted within the last 2 years)
